Ashley Chesney • YOGA TEACHER
Ashley was first introduced to yoga in High School and started practicing more regularly at different studios after graduating from college. Her love for yoga truly started in 2019 when her Father-in-law convinced her to take a class at Hope Yoga. With a background in psychology, she knew the power of the mind, but after diving deeper into practice she learned how powerful movement paired with breath is and how yoga positively benefits your mind. Ashley knew she wanted to one day deepen her practice and education. She is honored to be a part of the first graduating 200-hour Resilience Yoga Teacher Training class at Hope Yoga.
Ashley has experience working with children with special needs, prior to having her 2nd daughter, she was a behavioral therapist for children on the Autism Spectrum. She believes yoga can benefit so many different aspects of life. It has helped her to manage anxiety and makes her a better mother. As a mother of 4 and one on the way, practicing yoga keeps Ashley grounded.
Yoga teaches you to breathe through the difficult times, live in the moment and so much more. Ashley’s goal is to help all ages feel empowered on their mats and use that to grow off of the mat.
In her free time, you can catch Ashley cheering on her kids and watching them do the activities they love. She loves spending time with her family, playing games, going for walks and soccer.
